Questimate provides an SMS-based estimate generation service for registered contractors. Contractors can text job descriptions to our service number and receive professional estimate links in response.

How It Works

1. Contractor sends a text message describing a job
2. Our system generates a professional estimate
3. Contractor receives a reply with estimate view and PDF links
4. Contractor forwards the link to their customer

Consent & Opt-In

By texting our service number or replying START, you explicitly consent to receive SMS messages from Questimate containing:

• Estimate confirmation and links
• Error notifications if estimate generation fails
• Service-related updates

This is a contractor-initiated service. You will only receive messages in direct response to your text requests. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.

Your consent is recorded with a timestamp when you first text our service or reply START, and you may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

Message Frequency

You may receive 1-10 messages per estimate request. This includes:

• 1 confirmation message with estimate link
• Possible follow-up if estimate generation fails

Maximum 10 estimate requests per day per phone number. No recurring or scheduled marketing messages are sent.

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving messages:

• Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe
• You may also text CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT
• You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts
• To resubscribe, text START to our number

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan. Questimate does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is compatible with all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

Privacy

We collect phone numbers solely for service delivery. Job descriptions and estimate data are stored securely and associated with your contractor account. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
